Medium of instruction for undergraduate programs is English at Alanya HEP University. There is one year intensive English education at the English Preparatory School. New students must sit an English Proficiency and Placement Test to determine their level of English. Those students who fail the test are placed in levels (A1,A2, A2+,B1) according Common European Framework of Language criteria.

Those who can submit a valid test result (obtained within last two years) from international English tests accredited by the university (TOEFL IBT, IELTS, FCE, CAE, Pearson's PTE) can directly start their studies in the faculties. Those applicants whose mother tongue is English will directly start their courses in the faculties.

Alanya HEP University plans to provide incoming students and staff with a Turkish course for international students during the Orientation Program. Since the medium of instruction is English for undergraduate programs at Alanya HEP students will easily adapt to their courses but will be assisted in accordance with daily routines through a survival Turkish course and the budy system formed by the International Relations Office. Language support for incoming staff members will also be given through a compact course which will be arranged by department coordinators. For students who choose to go non-English speaking countries; our  School of Foreign Languages provides students with elective courses such as, German, Spanish, French, Russian within the academic year. For graduate programs, we will offer a special Turkish Language Course for incoming students. The Office also provides language support for incoming staff upon request. We inform mobility participants about all the necessary language and cultural matters and guide them so that there are no misunderstandings. Erasmus office of our university provides language support for incoming students and staff in every possible way.
